Safekids Uganda is a child safety organization striving to promote safety of children at home, in schools, in war areas and on the road from injury in Uganda.

Safekids Uganda is a coalition of Safekids Worldwide, whose headquarters are in Washington, DC, United States of America. Safekids Worldwide is the only international non- governmental organization that is devoted exclusively to prevention of accidental injuries among children 14 years and below. Safekids Uganda joined the safekids family in January, 2003. Uganda is the second African country, after South Africa to join the Safekids Worldwide network.

• The upcoming events will be the 2nd UN Road safety week campaign theme:''child pedestrian safety''. Actual activities include: Painting Zebra crossings, putting up road signs, an essay competition, media campaign, training traffic wardens etc.
